Keville has provided QA inspections services at DFW International Airport for the last 14 consecutive years. Since 2021, Keville has been providing QA Inspection services to DFW Airport’s Design, Code and Construction (DCC) Department as the Prime consultant. This contract focuses on civil construction type projects. Keville was originally selected in 2021 and has been re-selected on every re-compete since that time. The most recent award was in 2025 which was the third consecutive term contract to Keville. Keville has performed with the following positions under this contract: Quality Assurance Special Inspectors, Quality Assurance Inspectors, Quality Assurance Administrator, and Code Inspection. Keville’s QA Inspectors have provided inspection services on many types of projects including new construction, renovations, repairs, upgrades, relocations and rehabilitations. Some of our completed projects under this contract are as follows.

Supplementary Electric Central Utility Plant (eCUP) / $234 million

The project included the construction of a new 50,000 SF satellite central utility plant to supplement the heating and cooling capacity of the existing central utility plant. The eCUP and existing CUP were interconnected to provide 42,000 tons of installed cooling capacity and 134,000 MBH of installed heating capacity. The eCUP consisted of one traditional 3150-ton water-cooled centrifugal chiller, two 1800-ton water-cooled heat pump chillers, three 33,000 MBH hot water boilers, and six 10,000 MBH condensing boilers. Heating hot water from the new satellite central plant were connected to the various buildings at the points where the existing steam piping terminates at the steam-to-hot water heat exchangers that were decommissioned.

Terminal F, Phase 1 / $208M

The airport terminal project included: structural reinforcement; upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; additional baggage handling systems; placement of passenger boarding bridges; installation of aircraft jet fuel pits; improvements to security protocols and infrastructure; and interior terminal finish out. The 3-level, 153,000 SF building connected to the existing southeast corner of Terminal D and provided 4 new swing gates to address inbound and outbound requirements for domestic and international flights.

Terminal C, High Gates / $115M

The airport terminal project reconditioned the existing structure by prefabricating offsite multiple individual structural units which were then transported across the runway to the site during the night shift, in order to expedite construction and limit disruptions to airport operations. Terminal C High Gates modernized a total of five gates which include C35, C36, C37, C38, and C39. Final configuration of the exterior structural shell included essential core infrastructure, predetermined penetrations, arranged framework connections, underpinned maneuverability, and resulted in a two-level, 80,000 SF airport facility.

Southwest Consolidated Campus Phase 1B Roads and Utilities / $37 million

This project provided the necessary main roadways and utility infrastructure to support the new DPS Headquarters Building, Integrated Operations Center, Project Cayenne, and the Snow & Ice Facilities. The north-south roadways connected to the existing southwest construction road to provide a catering route to the airline kitchens.

Runway 17L Storm Drain Pipes / $29 million

The project involved rehabilitating cooling towers, upgrading condenser water system components, and six new 5,500-ton electric-drive industrial chillers. The project provided a cooling tower capacity increase to 35,600 tons. In addition, five 1,350-ton centrifugal glycol chillers added the required 20°F glycol for the preconditioned air cooling for the jet bridges, as well as six-million-gallon 90,000-ton stratified water thermal storage tanks, which served to level the electrical demand for the airport

Energy Plaza Condenser Water System Rehabilitation / $16 million *Could remove from here & add to Energy Market

Open Channels / $ 9.0 million

This project included soil excavation, channel widening of the existing channels to support water flow control, concrete riprap placement, and management of oversaturation. The work incorporated the installation of a Gabion Retention System in multiple areas throughout the entire length of the project. This system allowed for welded wire mesh applications for earth retention and soil stabilization, provided erosion control, and enhanced landscape applications.

Rehabilitation of East / West Potable Water Storage Tanks / $8.5 million

This project rehabilitated the groundwater storage tanks of the East and West pump stations (4 units). The scope of work included magnetic flux leakage testing, repairing damaged tank areas, removing and replacing the existing tank roof, applying external and interior three-layer coatings, installing tank mixing and a cathodic protection system, final hydrostatic testing for each tank, and final site work.
